Sam’s Club One Year Membership Deal

I love to look through Groupon and LivingSocial. The other day I saw a deal for a yearlong membership to Sam’s Club. For new members, or those who let their membership lapse, you can buy a membership for $45. What’s great about the deal is you get a $20 gift card and $19.84 worth of food vouchers with the purchase! So, you are paying $5.16 for a one year membership! What a deal! You must hurry though because the deal ends today!

Even though I have a Costco membership I have some items I miss being able to buy at Sam’s Club. This will be nice to have!

Free eBooks and Downloadable Books at Your Local Library

I am so happy that I didn’t have  anywhere to go this Saturday morning!  I spent the entire morning in bed finishing a book by Janette Okes.  It’s the Abram’s Daughters Series and I can’t put them down after I download them on my iPad.  I had ‘bought’ the first book from Amazon (it was free) and have recently discovered that I can download eBooks from my library. I checked my library’s list and found they offered the complete series on eBook!    I just finished the 4th of the series and there’s only one left.  I did finally drag myself out of bed to get some much-needed work done, with the knowledge that I can read more today as my daughter is at ballet practice for the Nutcracker.!  So, I thought I would write for a few moments before I make some soup for lunch,  clean out my flower beds, work on laundry and start my new list of meals for a few weeks.  It sure feels like I just put the last few weeks together and now it’s over! It’s fun deciding what to eat for the next few weeks!

For those of you that own tablets, check out Amazon under the free eBook section.  They have a ton of books for free, including some classics!  I have never read any Jane Austen books so I ‘bought’ quite a few from Amazon!  I have years worth of reading without having to leave the comfort of my home, and ALL free!  What a deal!  Be sure to check out your local library to see if they offer free downloaded books!  I LOVE anything free and easy!!
